born in Venezuela to Portuguese parents, Ilde Goncalves grew up traveling between the two continents. He was surrounded and influenced by fashion early on since his mother was a tailor.

His love for fashion led him to attend the Fashion School in Caracas while studying ballet and modern dance at the same time.

He discovered his passion for makeup since he would get his dancing partners and him ready for their shows.

In 2005 Ilde started at Sephora in the US as a Beauty consultant.

A few years later he became a Sephora Pro, developing and coaching other artists, working on the beauty campaigns, being the lead makeup artist for shows during New York Fashion week and Miami's Swim week. 

Ilde had the pleasure to work with celebrities like Isabella Rosselini, Ashley Graham, Luis Fonsi & Agueda Lopez, Kate Mara and many more.

Ildes’s makeup creations have been published in magazines around the globe and graced runway shows for designers like Herve Leger, Louis Vuitton, Michael Kors, Rebecca Minkoff, Alice & Olivia etc.
